Max van der Kamp

About

Max started drawing at a very young age. His first drawings were on paper, but already at age four he started exploring illustration techniques that were pixel based, which up to this date shows in his 'pixel perfect' perfectionism in both design and illustrating. He also started submitting his works to various contests at a very young age and won several prizes. One of his childhood drawings is still being used by the Dutch Railways for billboards. The medium is of little importance to him, since both digital and analogue media come natural to him.

His true goal in life is to create free art, but at age 21, he fully understands that a career in the arts will take time, so his current means of income are producing web graphics, designing ads for printed media and designing corporate websites. You will find examples of his work in this online portfolio.

Whatever the medium is Max is a perfectionist in many ways, but he lacks the habit of most perfectionists to repeat the same theme over and over again. His approach to every project is fresh and challenging.
